Dave Snow is a photographer, visual artist, storyteller, and a lover of light. He works across fine art, documentary and commercial photography, creating stunning singular pieces, moving photographic essays and often contributing creative work to the stories of makers and creators.

His education in and passion for photography are rooted in his experiences on the land and the water, exploring our connections with each other and the planet. From his early days as a guide in the Northwest Territories to a long career in the outdoor industry that took him to mountain peaks, down rivers and through forests, he has always been captivated by light and motion — just as he captures those moments, touching on stories that are often wild, sometimes intimate and always gorgeous.

To see what the sun exposes. . . this is what gets Dave up at dawn. His dedication to his craft is evident in every carefully made photograph. He can often be found on the road and exploring the edge of the ocean, a frozen landscape, or the heart of the forest with his wife & partner Sara, and their sweet dog Bean. He and Sara run a creative media studio, from which they create original documentary films and publish in print.
